| Born in 1977, I am a 34 years old woman passionate about what I do. I graduated in Advertising and Public Relations and got a postgraduate in Reporting. I started working in a small magazine made at university and there, where I took my first photos, I realized I wanted to be a photojournalist. I mostly work in Barcelona –where I am based– and all over Spain. My works are seen in Spain, where I often publish in Sunday supplements for newspapers like La Vanguardia Magazine or El Semanal, and in other magazines such as Yo Dona, CNR or Revista, from La Vanguardia newspaper; and also outside, in ‘D’, Io Donna, GIOIA (Italy), Viva, Le Figaro Quotidien and Nouvel Observateur (France), DAMn (Belgium) or the New York Times, International Herald Tribune and Newsweek. I have shown my work in screenings at some festivals, like the International Meeting of Photojournalism in Gijón, Getxophoto and also the Albarracín Photo and Journalism Seminar, both Spanish. My portfolio was showcased at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in December 2007. Since september 2005, I am a member of the French collective PictureTank. I am too a founder member of EVE Photographers.
